George is responsible for sales and marketing and is responsible for transforming Intellidemia beyond the startup phase to position it for lasting growth. He is also the point person for PR, M&A, and all outward facing corporate activity.
George has a wealth of experience transforming companies in the higher education space. As a consultant, he served as a growth accelerator for a variety of successful edtech (including VC backed) startups over a 4 1/2 year period.
At the largest education company in the world, he served as National Director and was personally responsible for sales growth of $24M to $103M over a 6 year period. The company grew to #1 in market share during his tenure, outpacing industry growth metrics by 8-fold. He was responsible for a go-to-market plan that aggregated cloud-based SaaS, PaaS, LMS, OPM, and BPO from various business units into a unified offering for the higher education vertical. He founded the company’s Technology Sales Force and managed field-based Technology Sales Specialists.
Before that, George created a thriving multi-million dollar division from scratch for one of the 5 largest education companies in the world over a 6 1/2 year period. In doing so, he achieved the largest sales increase in the company’s 56 year history and recorded the largest single business transaction in company history. He introduced multiple unknown brands into new markets where they continue to thrive to this day.
