Compliance with state legislation begins here.

A growing number of states are implementing laws that require institutions to make significant changes to their syllabus management processes. Florida was at the forefront of this recent movement with  Florida Senate Bill 7044, which went into effect July 1, 2022. Now, state institutions need a syllabus solution that is effective, quick to implement, and easy on the budget.

Stay ahead of the law

Florida Senate Bill 7044 requires post-secondary institutions to:

  • Collect and publicly post course information, including syllabi, textbooks, and other instructional materials, at least 45 days before the start of the term
  • Retain and make these records available for at least 5 years
  • Be searchable by course subject, number, title, instructor, and textbook
  • Be downloadable by current and prospective students
