Coming up at Concourse Syllabus

    The power of integrations

At Concourse, we’re always looking for ways to make syllabus management more efficient. One of our most powerful strategies is looking to your existing systems to give your system a boost, whether it’s using them for authentication and access or pulling important syllabus information from them into your system. Modern Campus Catalog users have a unique opportunity for integration available to them that helps with a variety of different needs. With a few settings on the back end of Catalog, institutions can link course descriptions to Concourse syllabi to give students greater insight into the courses they are considering for registration. This same integration can provide public access to syllabi to help address state or system mandates. And Concourse’s permission settings allow you to show as much or as little of the syllabus as you like to the public without having to create a second document. That’s the power of partnership in action.

How Zane State found success through the partnership
Over the past year, schools from all over the country have taken advantage of the partnership and have expanded their capabilities and confidence at their institution. Zane State University became one of the first Modern Campus users to implement Concourse Syllabus after we announced our partnership. They quickly discovered the many benefits of Concourse and the partnership, including a quick implementation, easier compliance with OH SB 1, and overall consistency in their syllabi across the board. You can read their success story below.

    Our partnership explained
Last year when we initially announced the partnership, we hosted a webinar alongside the Modern Campus team that detailed the goals of our collaboration, celebrations of each team and their success, and how we anticipated we could revolutionize higher education. The information is still as relevant as it is today, and you can watch a recording of that below.
